The second part is about customs and behaviour. There are some important customs to observe when you visit Muslims anywhere.
The third part is about how and where to contact Muslims. Suggestions are given which will help you to meet Muslims
and open conversations; how to engage Muslims in a way they can relate to.
The fourth part deals with theological issues. Muslims have many heartfelt objections to the Christian faith. It is essential that these are understood beforehand and responded to with both sensitivity and clarity. Many illustrations are given for the reader to use in reaching Muslim friends.
The next part is a question & answer section, responding to more questions that are frequently raised by Christians and Muslims.
The book then ends with two chapters dealing with the Muslim after conversion to Christianity. We’ll talk about the difficulties that both parties will be confronted with and the church’s responsibility to make their brother/sister feel at home.
Since I come from a Muslim background and have worked among Muslims, this book is really an outpouring of much that has been on my heart over the years. My hope is that through reading it you will be encouraged and equipped to reach your Muslim neighbours with the Gospel. But remember, God only promises help to those who actually step out in faith. A theoretical evangelism never helped anyone.
Who is this book for?
Some readers of this book may be full-time missionaries who long to share the Good News of Christ with Muslims. Other readers may be faithful followers of Christ who have not been called to mission work, but who desire to support all efforts to evangelise Muslims with their gifts and informed intercession. Others perhaps live in communities in their own country where there are many Muslim immigrants or visitors. The suggestions made in this book, regarding the presentation of the Gospel to the people of Islam, are intended for all who desire to see the salvation of Muslims.
